July 26th, 2000 - Tucker, GA
The LP DeKalb County Meeting at the Tucker Library with 3 guest speakers. First we heard from U.S. Congressional candidate from Georgia, Sunny Warren (top row, dark skirt). She is the Republican nominee running against Cynthia McKinney in district 4. Then we heard from "CJ" Becker (bottom row, vanilla jacket), candidate for Superior Court Judge in DeKalb. She was in a run-off with one of our June speakers, Mary Lee Davis. Mrs. Becker won the run-off on August 8th. Finally we heard from Dale Ritchey (bottom row, dark suit), Libertarian candidate for Georgia House in Cobb County. Dale really connected with the audience with his informal, upbeat, refreshing discussion. The Libertarian Party can really be proud of Dale. All 3 speakers were great and all 3 stayed well after the meeting holding conversation with LP DeKalb members individually.
